This website is operated by JTM PAVING AND LANDSCAPING LTD, trading as JTM Paving & Landscaping.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly and in line with UK data protection law. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.

2: What Data We Collect

We may collect and process the following personal information when you use our website:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address, if you give it
• Your town or postcode, if you give it
• The details of the job you are asking about
• Anything else you write in the enquiry form

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and quote for the work. We do not take payment details through this website.

3: How We Collect Your Data

Your data is collected when you:

• Submit the enquiry form on our website
• Contact us by phone or email

We do not collect unnecessary personal data, and we do not buy contact lists.

4: How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

• Respond to enquiries and quote requests
• Arrange visits, quotes and start dates
• Carry out the work you have asked us to do and deal with any follow-up
• Keep our own records of jobs completed

Our lawful bases for this under UK GDPR are:

• Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, when you send an enquiry or ask for a quote
• Performing the contract, where you go ahead with the work
• Legitimate interests, for keeping the website secure and filtering spam out of the form

We never sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing you have not asked for.

5: Who Has Access to Your Data

Your personal data may be accessed by:

• JTM Paving & Landscaping, who quote for and carry out your work
• WAT Websites, who built and maintain this website and act as a data processor on our behalf

WAT Websites receives a copy of each enquiry and may access form submissions for technical support, website maintenance and performance monitoring purposes only.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties.

6: Data Sharing

We only share your data where it is necessary to run the website and reply to you. The service providers involved are:

• Vercel, who host the website
• Resend, which delivers your enquiry to us by email
• An automated spam filter, which includes an AI classifier from Anthropic, used to screen out junk submissions before they reach us
• Google, whose map is embedded on the page (see Section 10)

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where that happens we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

We may also share data where we are legally required to. All third parties are required to handle your data securely and in line with UK GDPR.

7: How Long We Keep Your Data

Your enquiry is emailed to us; it is not stored on this website. We keep enquiry and job records only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, complete the work, answer any follow-up or guarantee questions, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that they are deleted.

Submissions our filters identify as automated spam are discarded rather than sent on.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Section 9).

8: How We Protect Your Data

We take appropriate security measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Secure, encrypted hosting
• Access to enquiries limited to the people who need it
• Ongoing website maintenance and monitoring

9: Your Data Protection Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Receive a copy of the data you gave us in a portable format
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

10: Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising tracking.

The map on the page is embedded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
